Current read: Huraki Murakami’s ‘1Q84’                                                                                                                            Thank God for my Kindle. The UK edition is dumb. Two seperate books for one story is not eco-friendly Mr Murakami.

I have been having serious loc-envy atm. I’ve had my hair in mini twists for the past 2 weeks. And i’ve washed and treated them so they’ve got rugged, dread-like look to them at the moment. My friend said they look like sisterlocs. Really want to start locing my hair, but I haven’t got a clue where to start.

The Handmaid's Tale
. My boyfriend lent this book to me, after I found it in his flat. He explained that he had studied it for an A-Level class, and it was one of his favorite books. I’ve read other dystopian literature before like ‘1984’, ‘Brave New World’ and ‘Noughts and Crosses’ etc. But ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ is one book that actually scares me a...

Juice Pulp
madambfly: Plenty! Carrot pulp makes an excellent sandwich filling, similar to tuna salad, which happens to be one of my favorite reasons to juice carrots!  All the pulp from other veggies and fruit can be baked into quick breads, frozen to add character (and fiber) to soup, and I’m pretty sure there’s room on your compost heap for the ones you can’t use! holisticnaijavegan: What do people do...

Juice Pulp
What do people do with the pulp that is left over when you juice fruit and veg? It seems like such a waste to chuck it away.
